I Crossed the Ocean: Stories of Migration
- Jeyolyn Christi

As a result of decades of civil war, generations of Tamils left Sri Lanka in search of peace, safety, and a chance at a better life. Created over five years, I Crossed the Ocean: Stories of Migration is a collection of stories and visuals that explores themes of migration, displacement, and diasporic identity. Stories were gathered through in-person visits and interviews in nine countries, as well as virtual interviews during the pandemic.
